The Heart Behind the Portraits
I'm Sheila Moore, a boutique portrait photographer based in Hillsboro, IL. Over the years, I have seen just how meaningful portraits can be, and how heartbreaking it is when digital images are lost. Flash drives fail, computers crash, phones get damaged, and in an instant, treasured memories can vanish.
Growing up, I spent hours with my cousins flipping through old photo albums at my grandma's house. There were people in those albums I never had a chance to meet and family history I might never have known existed if those photographs had not been preserved. Now, watching my own son grow up all too quickly, I feel the importance of printed photographs more than ever.
My passion goes beyond photography. I love creating gorgeous artwork and albums that preserve the moments that matter most. The portraits I create aren't just images - they are heirlooms capturing love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for generations.
